About CSM

Central Sheet Metal Products is a family owned and operated sheet metal fabricator, established in 1912 and currently in our 5th generation. We began with a store front in Chicago (pictured), offering building materials like copper and roof flashings, gutters and downspouts.

We've evolved over time, offering light stampings and fabrication services through the war era, OEM contract manufacturing and all sorts of display & POP and cabinet & storage solutions.

Our continued success allows us to keep evolving with newest technologies and fabricating solutions. Small, medium and large volume run capabilities and multiple part mix OEM customer are our specialty.

We have hundreds of years of fabrication experience across the shop floor, with long-standing employees.

CSM is always looking for ways to improve all aspects of our operation. From vendor selection in our supply chain, our manufacturing process, and our quality. By making the capital investments in our manufacturing process, our quality and lead times have greatly improved.

Quality

CSM inspects all incoming raw material to make sure it conforms to the standards of the material purchased. In the event of a non-conformity, the material is placed in our designated scrap area. Our measuring equipment is sent out for repairs and overhauls on a continued basis, while keeping an updated Master Calibration List.

Execution

We have the capabilities to complete full FAI reports for customer parts and ship COC’s to customers, when required. We are continuously making internal improvements to operations.

Delivery

We have an excellent track record for delivery with very few disruptions. We will continue to provide this type of support for generations to come.
